This statement concering safety on West Balkans has provoked a severe reaction of Serbian president Tomislav Nikolic. Mister Zivulovic has pointed out that general Pavel's statement can be interpreted as a concern about situation in FYR Macedonia, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He adds that cooperation between Serbia and NATO is on the highest level. Acording to his words, Serbia is more than welcome to join NATO Alliance if she decides to do so, which is sustained by friendly relations between Serbia and NATO.
