Program

The Atlantic Council of Serbia is a non-governmental and non-profit organization with two main objectives:

  1. The promotion of Euro-Atlantic ideas and encouragement of activities which support the development and incorporation of our country into Euro-Atlantic integration.
  2. The promotion of interests of Serbia within the Euro-Atlantic community, which correspondingly supports the foreign policy orientation of our country.

The Atlantic Council of Serbia is a member of the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA), an organization which gathers members from 40 countries around the world. The main objectives of the Association are based on the Charter of the United Nations. Its members stress their desire to live in peace with all the other people and governments, and to protect the freedom of the citizens. Based on the principles of democracy, and rule of law, the objectives are to enhance the stability and prosperity of the Euro-Atlantic region, and to create common, universal values for the purpose of collective defense and preservation of peace and security.
