Sonja Liht, the president of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, received the Special Merit Order which was handed to her in Berlin by German President Frank Valter Steinmeier. Sonja Liht is among the rare strangers who have received this high order. Namely, the Order of Germany for special merits is awarded to fighters for human rights, freedom and democracy, and winners can be prominent individuals, intellectuals, and ordinary ordinary citizens, regardless of age. During the reward, the efforts of the winners in the fight against fascism, neo-Nazism, right-wing tendencies and racism are especially emphasized.
This way, the Atlantic Council of Serbia publicly congratulates Sonja Liht on the reward.
