Another professional visit to Brussels organized by the Atlantic Council of Serbia – analysts visited NATO

The Atlantic Council of Serbia organized a visit of analysts to Brussels from June 3 to 6. This visit was accomplished with the sponsorship and support of the US Embassy in Belgrade and the organizational assistance of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade.

Serbian political analysts, foreign policy commentators and media representatives visited the NATO headquarters where they had briefings by NATO staff, and in addition they had the opportunity to meet informally at meetings with representatives of NATO SHAPE (NATO Military Headquarters) who also briefed them. The visit also included meetings at the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to NATO and the US Mission to NATO.

At the briefings, that is, two-way discussions, the analysts had the opportunity to discuss the importance of KFOR’s presence in Kosovo, the Science for Peace and Security program, and the relations between NATO and Serbia (and the Western Balkans).
