NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that in his conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Monday, he emphasized the importance of cooperation on the stability of the Western Balkans.
“Good conversation with President Vučić. It is important to continue cooperation on the stability of the Western Balkans, including the partnership between NATO and Serbia. Aleksandar, I look forward to hosting you in Brussels soon,” Rutte wrote on his X Network account.
“We both noted the importance of responsible and serious behavior in the region and emphasized that the preservation of peace is the priority interest of all people living in the region,” said the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
Vučić added that he has arranged a meeting with the Secretary General of NATO in Brussels in the next month.
