Dr Dragan Markovic, founder and board member of the Atlantic Council, died of coronavirus

Prof. Dr. Dragan Markovic died today as a victim of the coronavirus. He became infected by treating our people at the Clinical Center of Serbia where he was in the forefront, as he was in Kosovo during the war and wherever his country needed him. He was the founder and board member of the Atlantic Council. It will be hard for our organization to survive without his energy, enthusiasm and dedication. We are proud of his work and the reputation he has in the world of medicine. Deeply moral and ethical, he equally helped the poor and the rich, the prominent and not prominent. The life and work at ACS will not be the same without him. The Atlantic Council grieves for its Dr. Dragan
