On Thursday, December 5, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Serbia, in cooperation with the Faculty of Security Studies, organized a special presentation entitled “Growing Geopolitical Convergence: Indo-Pacific Security Prospects and Geopolitical Cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Europe”. The keynote speaker at the presentation was Prof. BAN Kil Joo, Assistant Professor at the Korean National Diplomatic Academy. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion with prominent Serbian experts on the topic.
The event provided a valuable platform for discussion on the evolving security dynamics of the Indo-Pacific region and the role of multilateral frameworks such as NATO-IP4 and bilateral cooperation between NATO and South Korea such as the Individually Tailored Partnership Programs (ITPP) that strengthen cooperation between South Korea and Europe.
Representatives of the Atlantic Council of Serbia thank the organizers for the invitation to the conference. It was a very useful exchange of knowledge and information.
