President of the Atlantic Council of Serbia at the “Critical Challenges to the Western Balkans Security” conference in Tirana

The president of the Atlantic Council of Serbia, Vladan Živulović, participated in the conference “Critical Challenges to the Western Balkans Security”. The conference was held on Wednesday, May 31, in Tirana and was organized by the Atlantic Council of Albania.

Vladan Živulović spoke on the panel “In search of lasting security solutions in Western Balkans”, emphasizing the importance of Euro-Atlantic integration of the entire region, increasing media freedom and reducing corruption as the most critical steps towards improving the stability of the countries of the Western Balkans.

Other speakers at the same panel were Mr. Amer Kapetanovic, Director of Political Department, Regional Cooperation Council [RCC], Bosnia-Herzegovina; Mr. Lulzim Peci, Director of institute KIPRED, Kosova and Mr. Enver Bytyçi, Assoc. Professor, Albanian University of Tirana. The moderator was Dr. Brooke Smith-Windsor, Non-Resident Fellow Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies Washington DC.
