Atlantic Council of Serbia organizes a workshop called “Regional Youth Outreach” for young people from the region from 27th – 30th October 2019. The workshop is about deepening cooperation and friendly relations between young representatives of YATA’s from the region. Besides Serbia as a host, there will be young people from Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Albania, Slovenia and Italy.

The workshops will be extremely interesting considering topics starting from cybersecurity, the fight against fake news through a workshop on security challenges related to the migrant crisis that young people from Italy will present, to dispute around the border between Croatia and Slovenia which young representatives from Slovenia will talk about. Of course, this will also be an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of young people in Romania and Hungary, as well as to exchange experiences and knowledge about current or possible problems and their solutions.

Thanks to the support of the US Embassy in Belgrade, in addition to participating in the workshop and socializing, young people will have the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and get familiar with the work and history of this important institution, as well as to visit the Karadjordjevic family museum in Topola and the wine cellar.
