Journalists visit NATO, the EU, Serbian and US Missions to NATO and EU – Project of the Atlantic Council of Serbia

The Atlantic Council of Serbia organized a visit of journalists to institutions in Brussels from March 4 to 6. This visit was accomplished with the sponsorship and support of the US Embassy in Belgrade and the organizational assistance of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade.

Journalists from Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS), Tanjug TV, Beta News Agency, Pink TV, N1 TV, and the Demostat portal visited the European Union, NATO HQ, Missions of Serbia to NATO and the EU, as well as the US Mission to NATO and EU.

When it comes to the European Union, this study trip included visits and discussions with representatives of the EEAS (European External Action Service), DG NEAR (Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations), Missions of the USA and the Republic of Serbia to the EU.

During the visit to the Missions of the USA and the Republic of Serbia to NATO, as well as to the NATO headquarters itself, journalists had the opportunity to discuss the importance of the presence of KFOR in Kosovo, the Science for Peace program from security and the relations between NATO and Serbia (and the Western Balkans ).
